- The Satandards are a pretty wicked little local band and came runner-up atteh 2008 South Coast Idol which was pretty gash as the judge was that guy from blue so you can guess the type of cheese that actually won! can be seen often in the market, hop poles or departure lounge cafe on the basingstoke road.
- Geoff Lea the best guitar teacher around for many many miles.
- The Bloke from Bon Jovie tribute band lives in Alton.
