- A woman was sold by her husband in Altrincham market for 6p Mind you, it was about three hundred years ago.
- Evening though I no longer live in altrincham, the place will always have good memories. Evening though I have become partically worried about the street problems that are on the increase there (last time I was back someone was kicked many times in the taxi queue, thus braking many of his ribs), I will look fondly on this town.
- Altrincham is an old market town dating back 700 years.It is close to Manchester ,Manchester Airport;Old Trafford football and cricket grounds;the recently opened Lowry Centre and the Trafford Centre.The Trafford Centre is a large shopping complex which included hundreds of shops ,pubs,themed restaurants and nineteen cinemas.Atrincham is also close to the stately homes of Tatton ,Dunham and Bramhall.It has a metro link connection to Manchester city
