Pubs
- I was the last person to run the Bell Inn Alveley with my now ex wife, people keep saying re open the Bell Inn? we closed it down because regular customers wanted to sit in the pub with one drink until 2.00a.m in the morning and didn't understand why we couldn't do this (despite having a baby) so they deserted the pub and went to the Horse shoes to drink.
It was there fault we closed it down because they refused to understand and let us close at a reasonable hour "no customers means no takings" and now they're moaning.
Yes it WAS the best pub in the village BUT remember it was your fault it was closed, and it is now someone's home and the Pub has gone forever.
- The best pub ever was the Bell Inn. If the current owners evr read this, please re-instate the Bell as a pub?!
