Pubs
- The Prince of Wales Pub is a respectable welcoming well patronised Place and good standard food.. So please take the 'shit' comments out of your main pub info.Which is almost 3yrs out of date.
- White Hart - good, slightly wide boy tho. Prince of Wales - do not go there! Very sad bar man in suit and flipflops serves you and doesn't take kindly to amusing comments. seriously lame. there's also an odd smell of weed eminating from a souped up astra out the front sometimes.
- I frequent The Old Sun, fine pig roast and Stella . . . Oh and my woman likes the cider and the wine and the vodka. . . Cheers.
- The Prince of Wales - young people, loud music, odd opening times and according to the local papers one of the worst dens of vice in Bedfordshire. Since however the local papers are full of reactionary shit peddled by people who think having fun is bad, you should make your own mind up.
White Hart - Good pub with a nite spot and a Thai upstairs, use to have some live music but no more, games room frequented by younger clients. Recommended
The Queens Head - Small pub with good food, and friendly management more of a lunchtime place.
The Albion - Drinkers pub with large screen and pool table, fellow drinkers appear to be quite threatening, but are actually quite friendly as long as you don't try to pull their birds.
The Railway Arms - Dull pub which is always fairly quiet, not one of my favorites
The Old Sun - Good Beer, not very friendly staff (although better since it changed hands) nice garden (about the only semi child friendly pub in Ampthill)Pool room - recommended
The Ossery Arms - As they say 'probably the best pub in Ampthill' small, good beer, good mix of people, pool table, fair food. Good for a Sunday lunchtime piss up and a top quality quiz night on Thursday - highly recommended
- The Rising Sun
The Price of Wales
The Owsery (nice place)
- A few - not too bad.
- The Queens Head
