Arts, crafts and such

• Typical for Andover - the great little cafe that was Art & Soul is no more. Why is it that when we get a something a bi different to the usual plastic shops they don't survive? Guess we get what we deserve!
• The shop next to the Royal Oak in Charlton, Behind the Bikeshed has started selling some cool remote control models as well. Was playing with a demo model in the shop the other day - brilliant fun!!

• The Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sat.
• again, a little too cultured. Listen if the workd ever needed an enema it would be inserted in Andover
• Couple of picture framing shops, some place called Beady Babas for 10 yr old girls

• Visit any of the numerous Womens Institutes for tons of laughs, tons of old folk babling and guffing about the place whilst trying to remember their own name and whether Elvis was still alive!
• Art and Soul cafe/Gallery is a good place for students at lunch time(its at the top of town near The Angel pub)You can have coffee and Cake and play chess all at the same time. Its got a nice chilled out atmosphere too!
• Yopu did not mention that Beady Baba's sell beads and Beadcraft materials! Unlike any other shop in Andover they also sell mobiles jewellery and all sorts of other things actually made on the premises some items of special expertise sold with Certificates of Origin to guarantee uniqueness.
• Beady Baba's is not at the back of George Yard it is at the back of Black Swan Yard and it is nothing like Sunflower.
• Sunflower at the bottom of the High Street sells good cards/gifts/arty stuff. Also Beady Babas at the back of George Yard.
• Andover Framing is a really good framing shop, aswell as having a large range of cards and gifts.Also Sunflower is a really good gift shop.
