- I used to go to school with Nigel Spackman (same year and class), and he also lived behind my house in Anna Valley.
I have been on EastEnders. Does that make me a famous ex-resident?
- The workhouse Charles Dickens based 'Oliver' on was in Andover. It was part of Cricklade College but is now trendy flats

- Well other than Myself. MILLS FAMILY! I heard about the troggs but I never knew about them till WET WET WET did that song " I feel it in my balls, I feel it in my ass" song. I heard they were a righ bunch of lamos anyway!
My Grandad is more popular than them , He made a replica of the huge church in Andover out of matchstick YOU CAn go see it in Andover Museum, he was in the paper and such,..... Real proud of him, good old Fred whalley.
- Richard Adams, the author of Watership Down, also lives in the area.
- Nigel Spackman. I went to school with him.
- The Troggs created what is, somewhat confidently referred to as "The Andover Sound".
- Kate Howey - Known for her judo antics in the Olympics etc.
- Troggs - Reg Presley and Chris Britton of Love is All Around and wild thing fame
- The infamous Grandmaster Bash.. notorious for all types of crazy ass pranks, funniest guy I've evr been hit by!!
- I think some of the troggs came form andover.
- Kate Howie - Olympic Judo medal winner - was an Andover resident (in fact my old house was her residence previously!
- Richard Faulds from Longparish nr Andover won gold for shooting in 2000 Olympic Games but no-one else really
- Nigel Spackman - Chelsea, and ex- Liverpool, QPR, Rangers, etc, is from Appleshaw, just outside Andover. He went to Winton School, but was dropped from the school team because he was too good.
- The Troggs - of Wild Thing fame... not many bands are greater than these. Of course Reg Presley is now more preoccupied with corn circles now, on the farmland around Middle Wallop and Salisbury.
- Lucinda Green - for those of you who might not know enough about horses, she rides for GB in the Olympics.
- Dickie Davis - of World of Sport fame used to (he might still) live near Middle Wallop.
- Mick Channon.
- Phil Andrews. Plays for Brighton and Hove Albion when he's not injured. Claims to have been injured so much during 96/97 season that he had nothing todo with them almost going out of existance. Claim to fame-Andy Gray thought he played well even though they were dumped out of the cup!
- Kevin Keegan is rumoured to have lived near Andover about the time he got done over - say no more!
