Cheap Food

• The Siam Orchid near the George Yard in Andover is a really great little Thai Restaurant - the food is gorgeous and they even do lovely luchtime meals too!
• The Siam Orchid - a cracking restaurant and takeaway just off the George Yard that does lovely Thai food. Nice chilled place and very cosy too!
• I urge you to rock on down to Showboat!
• NO DECENT RESTAURANTS AT ALL !! HAVE TO GO OUT OF ANDOVER TO HAVE A GOOD EVENING. CURRY GARDEN INDIAN HAS ITS UPS AND DOWNS, JOHN RUSSEL FOX ON CURRY NIGHT, NEVER HAS ANY VEGGIE CURRY ON. SO NO CHOICE FOR VEGGIES. PEARL RIVER IS THE BEST CHINKY TAKE AWAY IN ANDOVER. BUT DELIVERY CAN TAKE AROUND 1 1/2 HOURS.

• AH the best part of ENGLAND AND ANDOVER THE FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 damn i miss british food!!!!!!!!!!, KEBABS AND INDIANS!!!!! I get eat them intill there coming out my ying yang, and normally thats what happens! Kebab vans everywhere, Indian restaurants everywhere, OH UTTER BLISS< all you British people lap it, I loved it!
• The Danebury has recently opened an italian restaurant called Mia! in place of one of its bars. While this is unfortunate as it removes my favourite bar from Andover, it does serve very nice, very classy food for very reasonable prices. It is small enough to fill up quickly at lunch, but you can still order and eat in plenty of time. Wetherspoons and the Hogshead are good in that they can be trusted to serve the same quality food everywhere - just depends if you like their food. Chic-o-land is great after Flicks.

• The best bet is The Buddha at Colenzo Drive.You can eat all you want for about £14,the starters are the bozack,though they do rush you.Ave a few bevvies before you get in there though as beer is crap and very pricey!!! Also Phil at the Soton Arms does one of the biggest(and best!!!)brekkies in the south and its only about £3.30.
• Burgerville! Horrible, scary place.
• Plenty of takeaways and fish and kebab shops
• Light of Asia for top arse burning fun.. It's due to this bad boy that I ended up camping on the toilet for 6 months, consequently paying council tax for it!!
• Macdonalds, Wetherspoons (its cheaper that mcdonalds) At night Keskins take-away is quite good.
• Harvester and loads more in Andovers town centre.
• Siam Orchid, Jade Cottage, Old School House

• A McDonalds in the Chantry Centre as well as the centre's own restaurant right next to it also Keskins in union Streeet does great fish and chips fairly cheaply.
• Jade Garden is a nice posh new restaurant in Andover. It's based in Bridge Street and actually has some really nice Chinese/Thai food. Several decent new sandwich/baguette shops have sprung up in recent years. I don't think there are ANY Italian restaurants, but quite a few Chinese/Indian which are OK. The MacDonalds taste worse than any other I've had in the country! When will we get a Burger King?
• Peking Chef- top of London Street by the Cinema. Do really nice Chinese food for around £5. The set meal for one with Yung Chow rice is also pretty fab.
• There is now a Hungry Horse at the Folly. The Harvester at Weyhill varies from OK to bad. Don't go to Mustang Sally's at Weyhill.
• The Red House in Whitchurch (just outside Andover) or the Fox at Tangley (erm, just outside Andover). Both pubs that have a restaurant and do very very tasty food at very reasonable prices....and both outside Andover.
• There is a good Indian Restaurant called the Eastern Eye.
• There are plenty of food shops in the town centre.
• The Bratty Van, Light of Asia, The dodgy kebab van near Carpet Right
• At last- We have a McDonalds! WOW!!
• The Eastern Eye opposite Chic-O-Land is by far the best Curry House in the known universe. Try the Butterfly Prawn, and Balti Menu, in fact i'm off for one now - TAXI!
