High tea and a sticky bun

You can tell us more about Andover.

Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • Get a cafe nero, starbucks or costa pleeeeeeeeeeeease!
  • Art And Soul! Dick Llewellyn
  • ART & SOLE RUN BY OLD SCHOOL FRIEND JAYNE, RECENTLY BACK FROM USA. CHECK IT OUT, PEACEFUL, ARTY AND NOT OVERPRICED.
  • woolworths.
  • Have to laugh at description of The Gorge - it's so true. Art & Soul is definately the template for a good cafe experience - it would be great if more cafes opened with bit of integrity and nice coffee. Please no Costa or Starbucks here!
  • The Legendary 'Gorge'. Mock cave style made out of papier mache Front half poulated by council estate single mothers and local plastic gangsters, back half populated by real gangsters. The occasional pretend student also wanders in.
  • kianna in the mall is friendly, but if you are a vegetarian Andover is a place to lose weight and if your'e a vegan it's mission impossible
  • Dunno not my scene
  • Mountstevens will serve up a eggs on toast for £1.. ..but it would have left the plate before you sit at ya table!
  • Theres an Internet cafe in the Mall.(in between Iceland and Safeways)
  • There is a cafe called Le Cafe and i think that is the only one!!!
  • Everywhere in Andover is shite to eat because it's all too expensive. The folly used to be good, but I got put off by the thought of all the greasy, fat , rude, tarts touching my food as they prepared it.
  • There is a great new little coffee house in Andover at the top of the town in Newbury Street. Called Art & Soul it looks a little like your favourite hippy aunt's living room. Nice varied furniture, tables with chess sets for customers use and generally a great feel and ambience. The sort of place that Andover desperately needs. Looks and feels like the sort of place that Bohemians (you know, artists, students, writers etc.) would feel very comfortable.
  • there's a place in the Chantry centre for coffee, but nowt else!
  • Le Cafe! The biggest waste of time the world has ever seen. Employ people who have only started to learn how to potty train and pay them about 50p per week!
  • The Bridge (in Bridge Street) is th inly decent Cafe in Andover. Good, original homemade food at reasonable prices.
