When the system is idle the gateway will play this voice message every 10 minutes identifying the gateway. This message was generated using The Festival Speech Synthesis System on Linux.

During the week the network is fairly quiet during the daytime with most activity taking place during the evening and at the weekend but if it is quiet call CQ, a lot of people are monitoring even if they're not talking...

There are just a few Do's and Don'ts that will help keep the network sane: Don't swear, don't use call or ring tones, do switch off 'roger beeps' if possible.

Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. My name is Jemma Louise Gentles, my date of birth is Feb 5th 1989. I'm trying to find my Dad.He was born in Arbroath in February 1957. His name is Jim or James Gentles and we lived in Banbury Oxfordshire with my Mum Shirley in the early 1990s.I was born in Banbury Oxfordshire.My Dad has a brother called Ian,who still lives in the Banbury area. Dad left when i was very small. All i can remember abo ut him is that he was very tall. He would be 49 now. I know he moved to Yeovil in Somerset in the 1990s but then the trail goes cold. I have heard rumours that he is also in Spain. If anyone knows him or anyone else can offer any help or any leads, I would love to hear from them. I would really like to find my Dad, its my 18th birthday next February and also my Dads 50th Birthday i would love to find him,so we can get together. We used to have lots of fun, he would drive the van around whilst transmitting the show, it was a red and black van not too dissimilar to the A team van! with wall to wall carpet! nice!! I hope he is doing well, I went up your house in the early 90s you would have been a little kid then! I think it was Cromwell Road, I used to do a Pirate show in the town as well! great days! LARGE REWARD offered for the safe return of our spoiler stolen from our FTO parked in John St in Arbroath the early hours of this morning. Anyone with any info on its whereabouts or with any idea of who may have it please contact us asap. Its a large (was) silver Veilside spioler. There are not many of them going around at all, infact i would say that was the only one of its kind in this area. If you know of someone who has recently put a new spoiler on theyre car please get in touch, our car looks ridiculous without it. We are not young lads who drive around with music blaring, we just appreciate a nice car. This is our family car and has made us only more determined to get it back.
