• Most pubs in Armagh have a FRESH FACED crowd, but some are just TOO fresh... nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Raffertys, Hughes', and Harry Hoots seem to be the most popular. O'Neills and The Toby Jug are nice too, but avoid Wolly Toms and Damper Murphy's at all costs, unless you like to stick to floors, be surrounded by dodgy lighting and fly's, and enjoy sitting in an empty and rotten atmosphere...

• raffertys is the best pub in the town and now better
• The Northern Bar (Hughes) is good on a friday night. They have a good dj (stevie dara)and sometimes mix the night with some live music. Music gets good towards the end of the night as the dj starts his house/progressive sets(dance music) and theres a good atmosphere when the place is full. Nice staff and clean aswell (except for the toliets). Always have live bands on Saturday nights aswell.

• The Railway has been refurbished. Quite busy in there, let's hope they don't start playing crap music or charging Park Lane Hotel prices for a pint. Swan Inn has a disco thing at weekends. They do a good job, but it's mostly full of beer-boys waiting for some female middle-aged stegasaourous to drop by. The only thing that's pulled in West Wickham is a pint.

• The Northen Bar, or "Hughes" What a dirty dive, have they never heard of cleaners? I know it's supposed to look rustic but it's gone a bit too far with the old spit and sawdust bit. The floors don't look as if they have EVER been cleaned. As for the loos, disgusting.
