- Queens Head Hotel, right in the centre of Ashby, really good food, good clean rooms at reasonable prices, they will normally do a deal for a longer stay, Fantastic friendly staff, Can be very lively at week ends as they have 2 bars & a nightclub on fri & sat eve. Cool
- The Cedars, Burton Road: very basic and old fashioned, welcoming but you get what you pay for (it's cheap). (*the place next door is not recommended - food inedible and beds SO old and worn it was impossible to sleep at all).
The Queen's Head, Market St: it's horrible, don't stay here. There was blood on the sheets, teenagers had taken over the floor I was on and the staff obviously hate you. A last resort since the bed is slightly better than the place next to the Cedars.
The Fallen Knight: some rooms refurbished and nice, some old and tattier, more expensive and the food is the same. Friendly and helpful staff but at least twice as expensive as the Queen's Head and Cedars.
