- A scary old man chased me down the high street once shouting 'rude' words at me
- Sam bird is the best busker in town, he plays the flute amazin!
- Boy George, not as in the celebrity, But an OAP from Westfields rides round on his push bike and flags oncoming traffic for the fun of it. what a guy. Oh and there was Clint Eastwood but has sadly passed away recently.
- there's this old bloke who walks from Moira everyday, gets drunk on the bench outside Woolies and then offers the 14year olds hangin' out on the park £10 if they spit in his mouth or flash him. I was approached myself a few years ago.
- Thankfully no scallies in Ashby
- Not much doin' here, apart from the drunks each weekend who entertain for free!
- Not really the in thing to do in historic Ashby, the old farts would moan too much. The English civil war is often re-inacted at the Ashby Castle, which draws big crowds.
- Ive got to disagree with the comment here. Its true that there is very little busking, but its not because we cant or that people dont like it. I live in Germany now, but my friends and I used to busk sometimes as a bit of fun, and everyone loved it.
