Ice cream by Christina Pierce (Member 10035607) on 17-Jun-2001
Peter, being so far away in Kansas USA, I was just curious as to rather or not there are any decent places to get some ice cream there. And if so, do you prefer eating it on a cone or with a spoon. Just wondering. lol.

Nonsense car parking by Peter Byrd (Member 10002059) on 22-Aug-1999
Why do a small minority of people park their cars on blind bends in the road that goes through the village. The Old Bakehouse by David Bedworth (Member 10001977) on 19-Aug-1999
I used to live in the Old Bakehouse at Ashton-Under-Hill from 1965-1968. Is there anyone around from those days who remembers me and my family. I remember the village store was owned and operated by a family called Hunt. I also remember that there used to be Black Swans kept in the pond behind the church. Also there is a small village called "Paris" up on the hill that looks down on the village.
