• Chowbent Chapel - fantastic old Unitarian Chapel in Bolton Old Road. Triple decker pulpit and box pews.

• eckersley house is now on the heritage list, must be a national treasure!
• The parish church, particularly on those balmy summer evenings when the local wildlife have run out of flints and not set fire to it.
• Formby hall because great beer festival there every year
