- queens park centre..the epicentre of excellence in anything arty
drawing, painting exhibtions, music venue, bar, theatre, computer music, tap dancing and belly dancing.......pottery classes, needle point....etc, it is situated in a n old little junior school.
- There are a few craft shops in Friars square but they are mostly to twee for words.
- Hard to come by. There is however a hidden treasure in the Kings Head's courtyard just of the Market Square....
- Turn the old Odeon cinema into a theatre/arts centre NOW!
- The Limelight Theatre and art gallery at Queens Park is excellent - a must see for any visitor to Aylesbury. Needs more support as the council are threatening to close the place down and turn the site into flats. Typical...
- My friend's mum makes some great jewellery out of Acorns and Conkers, which she sells in Friarscroft way of a Saturday
- We have a second hand market on Tuesdays in Market Square which has been known to have some good bargains.
- Schoon's Leather goods in the high street sells all kinds of stuff from wristbands to jackets.
