Arts, crafts and such

• Draw Wrght
• There's a shop down near the Electric Bakery and Argos that sells heavy metal T-shirts, jewellery and assorted stuff. It's been there for quite a few years now.
• CRAFT DAFT!...very apt.ly the laddies there are both "daft" and dig "crafts"
• McLellan(?) art gallery in Rozelle park. Weekdays and saturdays.
• The "Art" shop on the high street. And there's a craft shop down an alley at the top of the town. Can't remember what it's called, but if you see the giant cow with a pink hat, then you're heading in the right direction.
• The Tartan Shop at the corner of the Main Street and Sandgate. It's been there for yonks though I've never been in it. Seems to have a wide variety of touristy style stuff as well as more serious gear.
• Whats that place, the Tartan Corner or something. How long has that place BEEN there? I think Ayr was built round it.

• next to rsmccolls on alloway street. make your own pottery.
• Ayr Craft on Dalblair Road (part of Draw Write on the Sandgate) is a great shop to visit.
• Ayr will have a contemporary Art Gallery opening in the near future, more details as soon as it's sorted out.
