• There's a scooter shop round the corner from that car parts place, the Lay-By.
• Isn't there still a motorcycle shop in North Harbour street? I remember being there years ago.
• David Petrie motorbikes in north harbour, North Harbour Motorcycles (bigger but not better), Carrick Cycles (person powered) and halfords (person powered)
• Every pub or nightclub has specific bikes for hire normally between the ages of 14-54. All are admitedly not kept up to scratch but beware because you may be the one who ends up with a scratch.
• Petrol Powered - SP Motorcycles, Green Street - Personal and freindly and good prices.
• person powered- Go to Ranger on the main road going into the centre, he'll cut you a deal if you haggle unlike Carrick cycles who just charge book prices. HA HA

• Beside the Harbour there are two motorbike shops which are quite good. There is also a few shops which service and fix any broken machines!!
