- Sidney Devine of Tineeee bubblesss fame. The woman who went "woo wooo woo woo" in Deacon Blue used to stay in Prestick. Glen Micheal, famous kids tv presenter and local alki used to stay here - he did a tour of the local schools, apparently his sidekick talking lamp was stolen at Drongan Primary, put in a bin and set on fire. Paladin on the TV show suddenly did a Sue Ellen from Dallas and became a very diferent looking lamp after this.

- Steven Mellis, was the one that had an affair with Micheal Barrymore, i think he used to live in Hillfoot Road in Ayr. He lives in London now with some guy. It takes all sorts i guess, but i didn't see him as being gay at school

- I am the famous ex-resident. You utter the name Pob and equally hear great and horrible things. With friends (Johnno, Ned, Baj, Popper, Glover, Mason, etc, produced the cult motion picture DEMON TOYS SPECIAL EDITION, which is being released on an Internation Website at the start of 2006, to promote the OTHER film by darkEDGEpictures "thePIRATES". Don't expect a spoof or something funny, thePIRATES is a controversial horror thriller which has all ready sparked outrage due to it's content and where they plan to film it.
