- A TK-Maxx is opening up on the site of the old Asdas in River Street. I don't really know much about them, but it's a new place.
- Topman in Ayr is great! It has just been refurbished and has a great style, it has sells more than Topman in buchanan street! Really friendly staff, grab a Topman card too! I got a birthday card from them and an extra 10% off! Topshop is also fab. It's defo more like a boutique than any other store but it is certainly better than Kilmarnock.

- Come on, I went to Glasgow clothes shopping. Get over it. (£5.20 return)
- Orion Records has a few band t shirts usually £10 eachThere is North Harbour
- Boardwalk in Alloway Street - nice stuff!
- river island, D2, topshop all good...Nirvana has went all neddy now tho
- There aren't exactly any unique places in Ayr, just your usual high street chains. No H + M though. Top Shop, River Island, etc
- There is one great clothes shop in Ayr - WAREHOUSE has been there for almost 5 YEARS now! And hardly anyone knows about it! Please go and visit - it's within the dodgy department store "Hourstons". The staff are lovely and the shop is set out fab - you'll deff find what your looking for there!
- hourstons ayr
- Flip in glasgow is da best
- Gotta be Toppy.......some a the guys that work there are quite hot too!
- Handbags at dawn(lorne arcade), just off the high street, is a great place for gals to shop. With brands like custard shop, pussycat, bench, scary miss mary and emily strange. Its sometimes a little over priced but if you get there in the sales you can get a really good bargain!!
- River Island, Topshop, New Look, theres loads
- absolute crap, worse than kilmarnock which now has tkmaxx!
- Faaar too many sports clothes shops. Check out River Island, Principles, Next, Top Man/Top Shop, Slaters Suits, Hourstons,
- Well it has a few - Top Man River Island but best bet is to jump on the train to glasgow
- Nirvana has some real nice alternative clothing.
- Unfortunately there are no decent clothes shops in Ayr besides the average River Island and New Look that everyone has. Best idea would be to go to Glasgow.
- What used to be called life just up from Beatties. Unique up near burns statue square
- Edinburgh wool mill
