  • Game, Game station
  • Kustom PCs is a fine computer store located on Fort Street in Ayr, offering a range of components and peripherals, as well as specialised product ranges for case modification, gaming, cooling, home entertainment integration, in-car computing.. Kustom PC's (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk) 40 Fort Street, Ayr, KA7 1DE Gamestation (http://www.gamescentre.co.uk) 40 Alloway Street, Ayr, KA7 1SH There are loads of games shops in Ayr, too many to list. It seems that the yoof never leave their rooms! There's even a Games Workshop: Games Workshop: 10 Arran Mall, Ayr, KA7 1SQ
  • TOWN CENTRE
  • There is a games shop in the arcade at the top of town, you know the one where you come in with your little men and spend TWENTY YEARS on a crusade across middle Earth before overcoming your foes...blah blah.
  • There's very few computer shops in Ayr now. Time AKA The Computer Shop have closed which is no real great loss. The only visible places left for computer upgrades are Kustom in Fort Street in Ayr. They're a little pricier than some places but they have quality gear and know what they're talking about, you've also got PC World, nuff said.
  • Game Centre ayr is an excelent shop, the staff know what there talking about and easy to talk to, unlike other game shops in ayr ::cough:: game ::cough:: game station ::cough:: they will take there time to help you, and go out their way to get you what you want. Also, the games are generally cheaper than game and game centre. An excellent shop for all gaming and no need to go to anouther........ the best iv ever shopped in. also do phone top-ups. Big J.
  • Definitely Kustom PC, Fort Street (down an alleyway by the tyre company)
  • The Forum has a guy that sells videos, DVD's and console games. Gamestation opened on the site of one of the £1 shops and is reasonable enough The Games Centre, seemingly part of an ever expanding small chain is opened up in Alloway Street. They might be familiar to Irvine and Kilmarnock residents.
  • um game
  • The guys in the new Games Centre May seem New but clearly not to gaming like myself. the advice i got from them was spot on and none of the other shops bothered to take the time unless i was spending money. would recommend gamers to check it out. decent prices too.
  • A new games shop has opened at the top of Alloway Street in Ayr GAMES CENTRE check it out it has great secondhand games and all the latest dvd etc. The trade in prices i got their were much better than GAME AND GAMES STATION and the latest new PS2 AND X-BOX games are cheaper as well, i made a point of checking i have been gaming for years and have been in some of there other shops this one looks just as good. The shop looks good and the staff were ok but a little wet behind the ears. Hope it sticks around.
  • Guy in the forum used to be in Asylum in Dalblair Road, he's got a decent selection of games for Dreamcast, Playstation, PS2, X-Box, Gamecube and some of the older systems like SNES and N64. He also sells DVD's and a large amount of Videos. There's a computer place opened in the forum, he does computer maintainence, I don't know though, there's something a bit shady looking about him.... Gamestation have opened in the premises of a former £1 shop just along from the Forum. These guys are well worth a look as they're fair priced and they have an excellent stock of pre-owned games for all formats including PC!. Also they do DVD's new and used. I don't think Game will be overjoyed but they'll survive.
  • KUSTOM PCS, but not for beginners. Quite pricey i found. Very sweet stuff on display.
  • There's obviously Games Workshop in the Arran Mall, as well as some of your more mainstream on the highstreet, I'm pretty sure Game is still there.
  • Go to game they sell preowned games at discount prices
  • KUSTOM PCS in FORT St., are now over two years old and the 17 year olds who started it are almost 20 now. It is a must visit place , for serious computer users and those who want to be.
  • Electronics Boutique is being renamed as part of the GAME group and moving down the main street nearer to Dixons. A bigger store and not before time.
  • Electronics Boutique is the only place with a decent selection of games. They have a good sale as well.
  • *update* The Model Museum has been closed for quite some time now.
  • Electronics Boutique have about the best range in town. Saying that, thats not exactly hard, but they are good for all current formats.
  • Kustom PC's in Fort Street, Ayr, just across the road from the Ayr Advertiser offices. This shop was started by two 17 year olds from Prestwick. They have some amazing ideas for customising pc's. They'll build computers to any spec. They may not be the cheapest but they're definitely great value for money. Go in for a look and have your eyes opened to computers of the 21st century. They only opened the business about a year ago and it's going strong. It's the place for those in the know!
  • Electronics Boutique for computer stuff, but there's also a d&d shop in the Arran mall
  • Electronics Boutique on the highstreet if you like that kind of thing
  • The Model Museum, in the Sandgate - for Plastic Models, Role Playing Games and Figures. They also make-to-order Display Cases.
