• There is a shop across from Hourstons that sells some nice stuff.
• Best place to get your gear is in glasgow, the billabong shop in the buchanan galleries, they have started seeling skate board bits
• Get on a train 2 irvine and buy a deck.
• Don`t know any dedicated skate shops but Outside Now at the fork of Alloway Street and Kyle Street have some decent snowboard gear(a bit pricey though). Check out the Ayrshire Snowboarders Homepage at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jimmymac
• Ask around at the skatepark. Someone will sell you a board.
• Well I don't know of any but there is a good shop just off Argyle Street in Glasgow - Near to Glassford Street (Marks and Spencers Corner)
• Best are in Glasgow but a new shop Inside Now has just opened and is good for this kind of thing.
