The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
- Recycling centre, up Dark Lane from the traffic lights to where it becomes Church Lane, turn right at the mini-roundabout.
- I'm trying to organise a popstar workshop for little girls in the holidays. It will be held in backwell, on the 25th August 10am - 4pm. This will be part of popstar-parties, and will include dance, singing, make-up hair and T-shirt decorating. Unfortunetly, it will depend on numbers as to whether this will run. To put your childs name down, just email me at sophie@popstar-parties.co.uk, or give me a ring on 07890439679. I'll need your childs name and age.
The workshop will cost £20 for the whole day.

Cllr Huggins thinks that the comments expressed here "do not paint a good picture of Backwell". He has had many complaints about the "drop-in centre and the problems it causes" and "Things are much more peaceful since it has been closed on Friday Nights"
The future of the drop-in will be decided by the Parish Council in November.
This might be a good place to express an opinion on that prospect
- I am from Flax Bourton and as Backwell was the nearest town it was a poor excuse!!The lake is nice in the summer though
