Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. This is the first time this venue will be used to hold this event, the Saturday evening includes a Modern Jive & West Coast Swing Freestyle. The competition for the first time will have a Modern Jive category, 'UK Modern Jive ProA m' Competition, and a 'Dance with a stranger' Competition. I am looking for living relatives of Idris Llewellyn Wells, who was born on 2 May 1912, at Cwm Avon, Glamorgan, South Wales. He died on 4 June 1980 in Neath. His parents were John Wells and Florence Rosetta Smith. John Wells, along with his brother George William Wells, may have worked at one time in the Margam steel works Idris Wells married Christina Hooper in or near Neath in 1937. The coup le had at least three children, who were all born in the Neath area. These were Phillip Wells - born 1941; Mary Wells - born 1943; and Priscilla Wells - born 1946 (Wells/Hooper). .
