- Re earlier posting, I do remember May Clydesdale as she used to be my dance teacher. We were allowed to call her Aunty May and she was a lovely lady. The lessons I attended were held in the Clydesdale Studio's that used to be at the end of Church Street or Church Lane. I spent many happy hours there!
- Well I dont know if they are celebrities as such, but my grandma & granddad were
championship winners on Come Dancing, and they used to run a ballroom dance school
(I think) They were called Leslie and May Clydesdale. Anyone recognise them?
- Peter Bonfield, Chief Executive of BT, grew up in a semi in Baldock!
- Well a famous nearby resident was Nigel Hawthorne of Yes, Minister! fame.
He lived in Radwell just down the road.
They also filmed some of the scenes for Porridge in Baldock, I believe in the Maltings
- (Apart from yourself.) Damn.
