Cheap Food

• I think you will find Taylor's fish and chip shop now trades under a new name! Fishy Taylor retired and sold up some time back.
• Taylors Fish & Chips is the king of all Restuarants, although it's only open at random times. There are tons of good Indian, Chinese, and Italian places, which do pretty good stuff.
• Dum de dum Tesco's too
• Taylor's Fish and Chips is the sweetest meal around! Not only is the food good but the staff are really friendly!
• Baldock servise station isnt even in Baldock
• Unfortunatly Demetrious's kebab shop closed......... But Yeah the Orange Tree is the ONLY pub in town for me too!!!!
• Baldock has as many food places as roystons got Charity shops... Millions

• One thing you should know about Baldock - it's got a great Kebab House called 'Demetrios', highly recommended if you want a cheap filling meal or when you're totally drunk!
• The best Kebab shop by far has to be Papa's because the other one talked about is never open!
• But the ladies in 'Tasty Bits' sandwich bar WILL NOT SMILE!
• Famous for Taylor's chip shop, but as a resident, I reckon the Chinese chips are just as good!
• Check out Champman's butchers for REAL meat (why, they even carried a deer carcass in while I was there last Saturday morning! - Beat that for freshness).
• Day's croissants are unbelievable - vastly better than those you buy in France!
