  • Kingsfield, Hadrian Way
  • Definetly Tesco's, the old Kayser Bondor building (beautiful!!)
  • the old Kayser Bondor building, when it was lit up at night! WOW I believe it's a TESCO store now
  • Actually the Kayser Bondor building WAS built as a film studio but was only used as one for a short while. It was then purchased by (wait for it!) Kayser Bondor who used it as a factory to make tights and other hosiery items. They then closed down and the building was bought by Tesco's who demolished the back (kept the front for Historic Value)and moved in. Incidentally, did you know that there used to be a full two levels beneath what is now the shop floor? I know one of the old workers for Kayser Bondor and he says that the second sub level was used to store the scenery and props for the short lived film studio days. The sub levels were filled in with the rubble from the demolition of the back
  • Believe it not Tesco. The whole front facia of the building is preserved and was originally a film studio, then a lingerie factory before becoming Tesco
