• Willian Oak Lodge now meet at the Rose and Crown, Whitehorse St. and not Harvey's. Thanks.
• The Willian Oak Lodge part of the R.A.O.B. meet at Harvey's Mansfield Rd. Baldock every Monday at 8.00pm.
• The "fast growing" Youth F.C. now has 19 teams!!
• Actually the Kayser Bondor building WAS built as a film studio but was only used as one for a short while. It was then purchased by (wait for it!) Kayser Bondor who used it as a factory to make tights and other hosiery items. They then closed down and the building was bought by Tesco's who demolished the back (kept the front for Historic Value)and moved in. Incidentally, did you know that there used to be a full two levels beneath what is now the shop floor? I know one of the old workers for Kayser Bondor and he says that the second sub level was used to store the scenery and props for the short lived film studio days. The sub levels were filled in with the rubble from the demolition of the back.
• There's also a snooker club frequented by Famous players!
• There is an excellent TV/Video/Hi-Fi shop called J.O.R. Gilbert Ltd. Specialises in Sony and Mitsubishi but can get most things including fridges, washing machines etc., at really good prices!

• Nice town, good pubs. Shame about the traffic. Still, they say that one day we'll get a bypass!
• Bondor business Centre - as well as many industrial premises has several places to get you computers mended or upgraded like Pinboard Computers.
