Looking for Ingrey Family in Herts/Cambs border area. My Great Grandfather was from Orwell Cambs. Grandfather moved to Tottenham and then to Hertford Interested in finding more family history. I remember being told of a Ben Ingrey in Baldock who wove baskets and was blind but never knew if he was from the same branch.My own branch of the family seems to go blind in later life. Hi everybody! Me name is/used to be Petra Schisowski and I participated in an student exchange programme with Knights Templar and my school in Germany/Eisenberg from 1972 - 1979. During that time I used to spend time with Claire Payne living in Salisbury Road. David was a student at Knights Templar, playing the guitar, had long blond hair and we used to see each other a lot during school time and were pen friends. He used to live at 9, The Teen (spelling might be wrong), had a brother (Brian?), his father was (I think) with the police and his mum used to drive a purple-pinkish sports car (brand I don't know anymore). I was (still am) blond, middle size and loved "Baby Cham" at George IVs. David and his friend visited me and my family in summer 1979 while touring Europe. Last thing David might know I got married in 1985, left for Nigeria. Since 1999 I am back in Germany and would like to get in contact again with David. Anybody out there who knows his where-abouts? I am trying to find old school friends who went to the catholic convent in the mid to late 60's, I remenber my friend at the time was Gillian Picking. My maiden name was Teresa Worsley, I left UK in 1972 to go to Australia (am still here)Would appreciate if anyone can help. If anyone remembers them please get in contact.My dad Derek and mum Val both worked for Kayser Bondor for many years.My dad then went on to work for Vauxhall Motors in Luton,Meredew in Letchworth and then he became caretaker of Brandles Close School.
