• DRAYTON SCHOOL Drayton School at one time was failing to achieve its potential and was placed into special measures. Over the last few years Staff and pupils have worked hard to bring the school out of special measures and produce a learning establishment to be proud of. The future of this school is now in doubt: http://www.draytonschoolsos.co.uk - Parents Against Closure of Drayton School. There is a proposal to merge Banbury and Drayton Schools and give the Drayton site to Blessed George Napier School (BGN) (which is currently next door to Banbury School) and combine the BGN/Banbury site into one school. This would involve Drayton pupils having to move to the Banbury School/BGN site, the implications of which include increased travel and dangerous roads to be traversed by the students, the loss of one of the finest school sports facilities in Oxfordshire, and the loss of parental choice of school in the Banbury area. • small town, but loads of ace people, weed and good music. also muchos tequila drinking and various painful shots are slammed every weekend to excess!
• Um... no, can't think of anything good about Banbury...

• Easy reach to anywhere in the country
• lots of jobs
• the banbury rocket program ams to send a pig to mars in 10 years time. we have some of the best rocket people here.
• people are generally very laid back, its a town that has most facilities and you can live quietly there.

• The Cemetary on Southam Roads nice. I don't live there anymore
• PUB WATCH. Makes me feel safer knowing I don't have to rub shoulders with the likes of MASH and Rico and Troi. Visons happy hour 5-7pm every day one pound a pint 75p a shoot, pool and the likes of Steve Clarke and Carl "rowdy and Bowdy" Robinson.
• Surrounding countryside and villages
• The lovely countryside roundabout, not quite Cotswolds so not plagued by coachloads of tourists.
• Grass, flowers...The flyer's Al lday breakfast THE WHITE LION as long as the refurbishment doesn't desrtoy the wonder decor and atmosphere
• Beaiutiful countryside only a few miles outside the town in all directions.
• The Mill - it deserves frequenting on a weekly basis
