• yeh try dawsons.......if you want half arsed service from teenagers who dont have a clue what they're selling, who spend most of their employed time arguing with eachother about soap operas, and over pricing everything in the bloody store!!! honestly, if you're serious about your gear (and the money you pay for it), go somewhere where they know what they're doing. nice to have a music store in bangor tho

• Try Dawsons, just behind Homebase off the ring road - good supply of most miusical gear and if they haven't got it they probably can.
• go into bfast to matchets - its pretty good! theres also this other place which not too many pepole know of, its on past cult along the high street,jus along the main road past the coffee shop beside cult,its jus b4 u get too st anns - rely good,a bit like matchets but those that know of it say its better! go see for urself! oh ye an then theres the guitar emporium up at shazbury square - boitanic avenue.

• Frogs Strings and Things in Grays Hill,just up from Pollocks.The guy stocks loads of acoustic guitars along with strings and loads of other music related goodies.Well worth a visit, even if its only for a chat on life.

• The Rock Shop - top of High Street. Great sounds from the back of your 50cc Scooter as you "roar" off down the road and straight into that bin lorry. Imagine forty schoolchildren blowing rasberries into an empty dustbin. Great vibe.
