- I suppose it has to be HMV considering there are feck all others in bangor now, however u can pick up some decent second hand cds in replay for quite cheap!!
- Woolworths, HMV, dunno, i mainly download
- Harrison Musique for dodgy vinyl
Underground Music for dodgier vinyl
- sho'nuff has been killed off by HMV - the bastards!!!
- sho'nuff, now on abbey street
support the indie as those HMV bastards have killed off the others!!!!
- shonuf - the wee record shop at the top of main street, its great! better service than shitty HMV which jus opend dwn the hill from it!
- HMV is crap. They take orders from customers and then can't get them in until months after every other shop has already got it.
- sho nuff leads the way in friendly service ! and you can get concert tix there too
- belfast.
- Mixmaster is now open, not too bad,not too good either, its full of old music but if u want some up to date records ur gonna have to venture up 2 belfast im afraid
- HMV IS GOOD AND WOOLIES
- sho'nuff the dude in there is so dead on
- HMV OR GOLDEN SHOP
- hmv has every thing u need.
- does anyone remember stevie's rock n pop shop down high street?
- new hmv opening should be good...
the 1 in flagship is good
- underground music in high street
- Big Steve in Sho'Nuff on Main Street. For all your music needs...
- Golden discs are a ripp off. Underground music have a giant bannana.sanity in Broomfields as the Jackie in Jasmine House says (very good chinky - the best in bangor).
- easily sho'nuff on main street is the best in bangor. if steve cant get it - then it cant be got!!! plus a good range of books and guitar accessories - wicked!
- has anyone else noticed that every sale on our price has the same garbage 2.0 albums that it has had for the last 4-5 years?
- golden disks da fck
- UnderGround Records
- definitely harrison
- Cosmos is usually a well known record store, or is it????????????
- Golden discs in the flag ship.
- the one beside flagship centre cark park +it has old 1's like elvis +madonna but nobody knows he sells new cds 4 a fiver each!!
- this isnt really a record shop-well its not at all but have u seen that there is now 5 card shops on main street alone!!!FIVE-why?????and in flagship no less than 4 phone shops and since Argos sells fones say 5!then across the road from the entrance is car phone warehouse, is there any need????
- On your web-site, which is real cute!, you don't mention the best record shop that Bangor ever had, which was Musique, which then became Harrison-Musique........you could get anything you wanted, plus a babe on a Saturday afternoon,......staff were cool, and even the owner, baldy Jerry was a walking encyclopedia of music........top rate shop, man!!
- Sho'Nuff in Main Street is a cool new music shop. The guy who works there really knows his stuff, and if he doesn't have it in stock, is more than happy to get it for you. If he can't get it for you, it is simply no longer in existence. Nice bloke too.... his website is http://www.shonuff.co.uk
- jungle records, across from sk8
- Kosmos Records, great for picking up the latest dance from 1990
- Kosmos and Underground and also Sho-nuff. The only fucking decent record shops in Bangor
- underground!!!
- a shop thats sells hms pinnifor albums like and cheap fegs
- Kosmos records is fuckin' excellent. The best record shop in Northern Ireland by far. Steve the owner is an absolutely top bloke- really helpful and really interested in and knowledgeable about the type of music he sells (as I am, excellent breakbeat, abstract, jazz, funk and old skool hip hop soundz). It is not just about making a profit. I am a DJ living in Glasgow and still Kosmos is among my favorite record shops in Britain. Underground, on the other hand is too much of a mish mash and I don't feel the staff have any real interestor knowledge in music and it is simply for a profit. It is also very badly up to date with most of the vinyl stopping at 1998 releases. In Kosmos on the other hand it is cutting edge with real groundbreaking, underground names and labels that underground over the road does not have. Underground music mainly sells five -fifteen year old borderline commercial floor fillers. It's a bit shit really. Also Paul from underground DJ's in the Boom Boom Room, the shittest and most cheesiest club in the world playing commercial 44 house bollocks. He is also not very polite. Steve in Kosmos on the other hand is a really nice bloke who knows his stuff. KOSMOS IS A DEFINATE MUST.
- MTM Gone, Yippee,
- ourprice mmmmm yes it is thier price cos no one else would charge so fuckin much so sumthin so shite
- Underground music my favourite shop, just because it's got all the underground metal CDs that the commercial big chain stores refuse to sell
- MTM. Flagship...... Rumour has it that the shop closed because "an undisclosed amount" of money went missing in the New Year. How do I know? I am a regular in Wolsey's bar of course. Why does that matter? Well.... A member of staff who had worked in MTM for a year or two got, how shall we put it, plastered. He told me that he nicked it... Why should you care? Well, I know the guy you see, and aswell as parading as a Christian, a rap fan AND a ladies man.... He's also a thief!!!! Why did he do it? He had apparently borrowed money off an old bloke, and couldn't pay it back.... What should you do now? If you see this little prick, punch his stupid looking, Ali G impersonating face.... and tell him that YOU know his secret.... The truth is out there.
- thank god mtm died and disappeared, shame the staff didn't, avoid the pub quiz at wolseys from the same wolly eared prick, craig
- Underground music always has great house and trance tracks. So keep "IT LIT"
- Well... you'll be glad to know that MTM has actually closed. I really hated the way that some of the staff were so rude to us every Saturday. I only ever got on alright with Ed... The rest suck the big one...Especially the one with the long hair...Fuckin' SPASTIC!
- Underground Music-hot
- Underground record shop. Its rulin
- Undergruond - big shout to paul, alright Bert.
- underground music not bad high street. mtm suck dick they charge £60 for n64 games
- A spot on record shop is Kosmos. It has NO CD's that anyone has ever heard of and it is beside the shitest Barbers in the world Cortes, go there if you want to look like an asshole.
- MTM in the flagship - pack of wankers.
- MTM is a rip off and a complete bag of shite
- Underground is OK, 'specially 4 vinyl fans, Kosmos is also kosher, Steve'll do you a good deal if he knows your a proper music fan. AVOID More Than Music, it's shit and really really jippo, a complete cackers shop. Our Price can be counted, but only if you have a lot of wonga.
- Only good ones - Underground, for everything, and Kosmos, for more or less everything - hows it going Steve?
- ourprice is great the staff r so sound!!!!!!
- Check out underground and wee Paul will sort you out with a load of top tunes
- I would like to post a notice in reference to the Glory Days of revival records, my elder brother (MC Fire) used to be the proprieter and manys a Saturday afternoon was spent in here dealing with stenchers (2 lit, combats, dog on a rope)and stopping goths from topping themselves over the size of the JandMC collections. To this very day the Revival sign still represents a young entrepeneurs foray into the world of 2nd hand Bowie LP's.
There is hope
Mark
- Is Revival Records still there?
- MTM with their rip-off Playstation games
- Underground, It gives me PLEASURE!(Even though there is steeky music sometimes.)
- Kosmos and Underground Music found in Bingham and High Street respectively. These are cool shops which usually have whatever you are looking for. Unfortunately there is far too much steeky shite being sold as it is all one can hear on sunny summer evenings in town.
- Kosmos (Bingham Street (Back of Flagship Centre)) Small but packed to the roof
Underground (High Street)All sorts - Dance/Rock/DJ equip. etc
- Underground is the best for vinals in Bangor
- Underground for records and local DJ CDs.kosmos but...dont go there its a hole.
- Kosmos, just off High Street - good old skool hip hop
Underground, High Street - good indie
- There aren't any big chains. Plastic Passion is good for collectors stuff. Underground music has been in the NME; it's a packed little shop with loads of indie music and Dance (its speciality). Go out the back door of the Flagship Centre to find it. MTM is in the Flagship Centre. Although independant it's like any medium sized shop. But check the other two first - they tend to be cheaper.
- There's an Our Price in the Bloomfield Centre, Kosmos Records at the bottom of High Street - opposite The Boom Boom Room...people in Underground Music can be quite arrogant at times - (by the way, the owner of Underground -Paul Murray - used to own Paul's chip-shop on Queen's Parade)...
