• Bangor FC made it in2 Europe. Bangor Rugby Club had quite a few internationals in the squad. Clandeboye Park home of Bangor FC also was the Northern Ireland International Football squad training ground. I met Pat Jennings there, he has hands like shovels. Bangor Hockey club, Netball club. Ward Park tennis courts. Garth McGimpsey, David Ferhety cut their teeth @ Bangor Golf club.
