Cinemas
- Going to saturday morning pictures at the old ABC cinema at the top of Fulwell Avenue Barkingside. Those were happy times during the mid 70's til 81.

- why the hell did the destroy the odeon? i now have to go to ilford or romford. :(
- Romford SterCentury is absoultly fantastic, I would never go to Ilford Cineworld as you wont feel very safe.

CINEMAS: according to Jimmy Greaves (Hainault resident - see his new biography) there were 6 cinemas in Barkingside whwn he grew up. I can only remember 1 the ABC near the Fulwell Cross Roundabout - now a Bingo Hall. Perhaps he also included Gants Hill Odeon (recently pulled down as being Barkingside. Where were the other 4?
