- Caffe Uno in the high street does the best coffee in Barnes but L'Amandine in Church Rd also has great coffee and the best pastries. Avoid Delice de France.
- Plenty of coffee shops in the Church Road and High Street area. Best coffee is at Caffe Nero as they make it with a double shot so you can actually taste the coffee. Best pastries and food are at L'Amandine in Church Road. Worst of all is Delice de France (the first) as the staff have a bad attitude and it is overpriced - why does anyone use it now when there's so much more choice in the Village? Why do they always insist on waiter service and a service charge there? It's just a basic cafe - rip off!
- There are a few, but as you'd expect - most are rather pricey.

- DELICE DE FRANCE totally French - baguettes, patisseries, coffee and traditional rude French staff as well. Hardy Brits sit at pavement tables in all weathers and off-duty au pairs sit inside.
Tati Danielle saw how successful Delice de France was and decide to do it as well just up the road. Same formula without rude staff.
