- Rachel Stevens lived in Barnet all her life until she was 22 when she moved to Hampstead a year after she made it big with S Club 7!
- Let me see... various sports people in Hadley, like Dennis Bergkamp, Lennox Lewis and probably others. Jeremy Beadle also lives in Hadley! As do (or did - not sure) Paul & Helen from Big Brother series 2. Oooh!
- Mickey Most, the record producer (and dad of someone in Brother Beyond) lived in Totteridge Lane.
Used to see Mandy Smith (ex wife of Bill Wyman) and the Beverley Sisters in Totteridge Waitrose.
Spike Milligan lived in several houses around Woodside Park, Totteridge, Barnet and Hadley Wood.
Kingsley Amis lived with his wife Elizabeth Jane Howard (the novelist) in Hadley Wood in the 70s (see Martin Amis's book 'Experience').
Jeremy Beadle also lived around Hadley Wood, my sister was briefly friends with his daughter!
- Humphrey Lyttleton. Tony Blackburn. Various footballers. Cliff Richard used to live in Totteridge. Carl Palmer (who??). All kinds of minor celebs whose names escape me right now.
- Paul Young, Lee Thompson (Madness), Lennox Lewis, Jeremy Beadle,
- Lee Thompson of Madness. Chatted to him in the Monk. Seems OK but looks old.
- I got a Christmas kiss off of Louise (ex-Eternal, now Redknapp) in Barnet High Street outside Boots!
The Beverley Sisters are also resident in East Barnet and Whetstone

- Elaine Paige lived in Barnet but actually went to Southaw Girls School in Russell Lane, (now part of Barnet College)
- Mike Figgis [director of leaving las vegas], is supposed to edit his films here.
- Helen and Paul from Big Brother have just moved here... Emma Bunton used to live here!

- For the culture vultures, Georgian Houses around Hadley Green have known celebs such as David livingstone, William Thackery, Kingsley Amis.

- Barnet is heaving with Arsenal footballers - if you hang around Waitrose on a Sunday morning ( assuming you have nothing at all else to do) you may well spot some famous faces being made to push the trolley.
- Elaine Page went to Queen Elizabeths school for girls.
- jeremy beadle is rumoured to live somewhere up towards hadley as did spike milliagan in that spire topped place near one of the entrances to hadley woods car park

during the eighties.
