Cheap Food in Barnet, Hertfordshire*

Corner eateries, quick bites and the local chippy

You can tell us more about Barnet.

Cheap Food
  • Oooo, Top Pizza on East Finchley High Road.....mmmmm
  • Avoid Chez TonTon in New Barnet. The food is awful. And do not dare complain -- the French owner goes ballistic !! One to definately avoid.
  • Cafe Uno serves great food
  • Loads. Enchai for chinese is best. Had a crap curry in Spice carriage the other week. For takeaways, the Golden Palace in New Barnet wins hands down. Personally I think Spizzico is full of very dodgy looking estate agenty types.
  • Enchi
  • Curry Cottage. Lets you in after midnight on Sat.
  • Chinese buffet in the town precint only £5 for as much as you can eat between 12 and 2 in the week
  • Dilber kebabs the people are a bit odd but the food is lovely, the best chinese in the worls, Peking Kitchen, netherlands road
  • The best take away sarnies are from Robinsons, either in the Spires opp Waitrose, or by the lights at junction St. Albans Road/High Street. Pizza Express at Hadley end of High Street is pleasing and relaxed. Parking easy. Golden Bird Chinese is good; service is reassuringly rude. near Robinsons deli. There's a coffee shop in Abbey National.Hey. Victoria Bakery for the best bread ever: malted cob £1.10 should top any good bread guide.High Street or Spires.
  • Pizza Express at the far end of the high street do BY FAR the best pizzas ever, but get there early!! (queues) they do takeaway, though.
  • the spizzico restaurant ,up the hadley end of the high street is lovely ,it`s italian, tex mexand a bit more ,nice surroundings and it`s priced good as well and if your girls it`s worth it just to go and look at the waiters e.g lookalikes ricky martin, sylvester stallon.
  • TOO MANY and all nationalities!
