Demolish It Now Building in Barnsley, South Yorkshire*
Places that need to be levelled
You can tell us more about Barnsley.
Demolish It Now Building
- the brand new bus station in the town centre just build
- New Bus Station I do know its not finished yet but??????
- Most of Barnsley town centre is due a revamp. We're supposed to get one soon -but to be honest, they'd be better off flattening the lot and redoing it, rather than tarting it up. The Al-hell-bra is a mid-90's abortion... the market area was dreamt up in the 60's by a blind man on acid... the town centre (pedestrian area) was done THREE times before they called it ok (it's not, it's shit) - the BUS STATION has been BUILT FOUR TIMES before this one (26 million this one's costing us) - Demolish the council buildings and the cunts that work there, for most are idle, money grabbing bastards who don't give two shits about the people of Barnsley and its areas as long as they get paid. The scabs.
- Foulstone high school.
- i would like to say all the counsile estates that are breeding grounds for crime, drugs, teenage pregnacies and chavs but without them barnsley wouldent be barnsley and the 'ooh look at me im from wakefeild, sheffeild' would have them living in there neck off the woods and we cant have that can we now.
- Where to begin?! The college buildings are quite false looking and ugly (Old Mill Lane and Sci Tech sites), the car park behind the market is an eyesore and thank the Lord they're doing something about the bus station at last (Feb 06) it'll probably take 6 years to complete but hopefully then anyone arriving into Barnsley by bus or train won't be put off STRAIGHT away.
- The job centre
- I must admit, the council offices are abit of an eye sore, but i believe that this is being sorted out in the near future!
- Nacods building. John Rideal House. Littlewoods.
- elmhirst skool aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaahhhhhhh i hate it!!!!!!!! i cANT beleive any1 wud actually consider going.
- They've not been built yet! but by looking at the new development framework in the 'remaking' of BARNSLEY im sure we will have an handful to choose from. For example, the proposed new market building, the proposed glass structure that will have Barnsley Markets slapped on the site of it, a building should be legible, its the typical Will Allsop approach. the typical southerner that has been asked to re-design our northern town with out knowing what we are about.
- that house on oakdale non stop tunes n there shite tunes demolish the bastered
- kirk balk school
- McDonalds with all the people that put McDonalds in the "favourite building" section inside said building.
- Coking plant at royston it stinks
- Virtually anything with an S70 Post code.
- where to start........
- That sack of shit next to the newsagent on Church Street. Offices of some kind.
- Anywhere in Kendray
- Anything thats left in Kendray
- gala bingo pontefract road
- Most buildings in Barnsley that were put up in the 60's, i.e. the lovely market building. It's just a big concrete slab.
- The Council offices
- Old Mill Lane
- regent house
- Courthouse..... Its full of ARSEHOLE wanna be BEERMONSTER STUDENTS....
- RENT OFFICE/COUNCIL TAX OFFICE HA HA HA
- Although they're not in Barnsley - the Park Hill flats in Sheffield need to cease existance. The only thing slightly humorous about them is that they're listed!! (hows that work??? no idea!).
- town hall...preferably with all the council in it
this monument to waste and profligacy of council jaunts is a scandal.
- alhambra shopping centre to make way for a giant sk8park
- town hall even thought my brother works there but.. ahh well.
- college
- BBIC
- Oakwell : this building contains more rubbish than the local tip.
- Any of the newer modern buildings which are ugly and have no character such as Old Mill Lane college site
- Demolish all the offices were all the white color workers work, and replace them by factories, Baaaaarrrnsley people love factories, the Dole Office love factories, they would offer the people of Baaaarrrnsley a hugh number of high flying jobs, no Baaaarrrrnsley person would then need to be unemployed or educated, they would be a production line thicko manual job for everybody.
- Chicago Rock Cafe, whats the point of it?
- Barnsley Odeon cinema.
The indoor market hall.
A clthes shop called 'castles' on market hill
- The Student Union.
- All of the town
- Oakwell - why not build a Tessco or Netto, it would be more profitable to the local community.
- Oakwell. The bulldozers are coming hurrah, hurrah.
- every house in kendray, gives us a bad image.
- Nearly 1/4 of the town
- How about demolishing the Odeon with half a ton of Semtex. It rivals the nearby Nacods building and Metropolitan Centre (both need flattening) for the title of the ugliest carbuncle in Britain, and this eyesore has ruined the view along Eldon Street for the last 50 years. All three would look ten times as attractive if they were ruins. And while we are at it, how about the whole of Shambles Street (lives up to it's name), apart from a couple of buildings, and what is left standing in Grimethorpe. If you're a lover of anything attractive, then Barnsley definitely isn't the place to be.
- All the former council estates in and around Barnsley. They're breeding grounds for drug dealers, thieving drug addicts, and clayheads whose aggressive behaviour makes life a misery for ordinary decent people, preferably with them still inside it.
- Why dont they just blow the whole thing up barnsley is crap.
they owe me money.
The wankers going round saying "norfolk fucking barnsley"
its insane
- It's easier to mention the buildings you want to leave standing.
- the worst building is bon marche. It is so wank!! who wants those fuckin granny clothes anyway.
- 46 CARR LANE I HATE THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE ITS IN PILLEY
- Demolish ALL of Barnsley, preferably with all the THICK, DENSE Barnsley people still in it - which, to be honest, is most of them.
- Huddesfield Road Barnsley College Site. Let's face it: demolishing it could be done by leaning on the walls.
- Oakwell. Barsley, youre going down with the Stockport.
Hoyland, Elsecar and Birdwell. Elsecar forge. South Yorkshire Police will you please sort these hordes of 14 year old prats out!
- All of Barnsley, actually.
- Most of the town. Blow it up and start again.
- that entire parade of shops on shambles street that used to be the yeb and gas board
- definately the new market - new? built late sixties of concrete!!!
- Definately Hedonism it is the worst place, smells of wee wnd sick and the music is crap. towny joint.
- Alhambra centre. It's shite. No decent shops in it.
- Library. Bloody awful. Orb.
- SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY'S GROUND hehe. They've already made a start by demolishing the Wednesday side - that's why they're going down to Nationwide oblivion!
- The John Rideal tax offices on Shambles street. Euan.
- Office block which is first thing you see when you drive into town up Shambles Street
- The NACODS building. Whoever designed that ought to be shot (if he hasn't already been)!
- Market Place
- The 'new' market.
- Most of the concrete bunkers in the town centre.
