• I left Barrow 18 years ago, and only go back to see family, because I have to. I feel so lucky that I will never have to live there again!. As the old saying goes "one way in one way out", the latter being the best !.
• if you are local to dalton, the best meeting spots are behind brocklebanks on a friday night, along with behind chas kendal and the forty steps. expect to find many a young courting couple enjoying their misspend drunken youth.

• Barrow park is fulla heathens, if you happen to stumble in, you'll be force fed vodka and have dirty needles stuck in your arm! Mostly, people hang round the outside of macdonalds, giving the man with the guitar suggestions for songs. Joy.

• THE CLOSE on barrow island is where all the lads hang around it makes me laugh u know coz some of them are about 18!also the school playground the church and island road benches!HOW SAD!
