  • erm, there's a large man who dresses up as a woman, complete with a wig (HONESTLY), for some reason, you ALWAYS see him around town, he's always in town or on the bus!.

  • Theres a guy called Andy who I always see out when I come back. Must be in his late forties now and he's still giving in sox. Go on you good thing.

  • We have lots of street entertainers when the christmas lights get switched on.
  • There's usually something going on in town ranging from the Sally Army playing in Portland Walk or local kids singing in Ottakars at Christmas to The Barracudas dancing and performing in their own parades through the town centre. Some events at Forum 28 often spill out on the streets, such as a week long arts festival in July which saw local school kids singing to the old dears on benches and the masn fixing the town hall clock.
