- the market crew lads are good entertainment, if your watching form a safe distance, while they are trying to look tough and chat up the slutty six as they sit at the bus stop.
- Kez Jackson. often found in the George Hotel. The NHS wouldn't accept him as an organ donor, although Sarsons have shown an interest
- Gary numan lives up harvest ave so im told?
- waine dixon, bartons number one city fan , (god he is cool )
- The guy who wrote the above is obviously a joker...haha!
Anyway to put things straight - if you want to slag us off - do it, but not behind our backs - tosser!
Fair enough it might not sound great, fair point. However, it didn't cost us fortune £190 for 2 days is reasonable. Plus - we don't announce that we're a great band. We don't play music for people who don't want to listen (i.e. YOU) we play it because we like what we are doing, but if you don't fine IGNORE US, don't cheaply slag us off whilst we're not looking - you weasel!!!!!
- theres this little asian guy who people used to throw money at to dance, i dont know wever or not he's still going but he must have made a fortune.
- There is a Bike Night in July where all the streets in the centre are closed off and bikers drop in on Barton in force. Good night, street fair and generally good atmosphere
- Did you know. Uncle Freddy - the magical, juggling, fire-eating guy in a straight-jacket. Was born in Barton and lived on Ferriby Road until the age of nine when he and his family moved to Canada. www.magicfreddy.com
- Barton Christmas Festival is at the end of November every tear. All of the streets close and a funfair comes to town. Really great atmosphere with street entertainers, craft stalls etc.
