• There was a moustachioed friendly chap called Bill who was way ahead of his time in keeping the hools off the streets. He had a record section, two video games and second hand books. Needless to say it was doomed to fail. Otherwise for a small time there was a shop further up Fleetgate owned by the Gauloise smoking libertaire Barry Cooper-a Baysgarth teacher. I bought Wham Fantastic! from there.
