- there all fat as if any1 does a hobby! except how many mac donalds can u eat in a week?!
- Hobbie Craft.... Where do you think i get all my lovely art material i love the place ... without it i wouldnt have made half the clothes i own :-)
- Hobbycraft, thats about it! sometimes Basildon libaray has displays of local art.
- Just Sew by KFC is a must for anyone into sewing. Also Hobbycroft on Westgate, a bit expensive but very good.
- THERE SHOULD BE A LEGAL WALL IN BASILDON FOR ALL THE GRAFFITI ARTISTS BECAUSE I DO IT BUT I DO IT LEAGALLY AND THE NEAREST LEGAL WALL IS CHELMSFORD OR ROCHFORD....IF YOU HAD A LEGAL WALL NEAR BASILDON TOWN CENTRE IT WOULD MAKE DA PLACE LOOK BETTER AND WOULD CLEAR UP THE GRAFFITI FROM THE ESTATE!!!!!!!!!!................THE PLACE YOU SHOULD PUT IT IS NEXT TO THAT REALLY BIG BLUE BULIDING WHICH IS OPPOSITE SAVA CENTRE PETROL STATION BECAUSE THERE IS A BIT OF FIELD AND IT IS A PRETTY BIG WALL WHICH IS GETIN USED FOR NOTING AT THE MOMENT!!!!...THANKS....

- It is an art form in itself to be able to escape Basildon's notorious BAS VEGAS/ FESTERING LEISURE PARK on a saturday night with all your own teeth... or is that just me???
- the druggy boot sale run by matt alien a local avent that brings in the crowds. sells bongs,oggis, and tredwells
- Hobby craft in Westgate park Basildon shopping centre & The Galleries in Eastgate at Basildon shopping centre!
- a few good ones in the gallerys in the eastgate thing
- The galleries in the Eastgate center are all pretty good. Especially the martial arts shop.
- Theres a new place in the Westgate area of the Town Centre,its called "Hobby Craft"...really cool if you want anything to do with any hobby....but a wee bit pricy....
- There are some really good craft shops at wat tyler park which is very nice in summer - having lived in Basildon all my life there is pox all to do you make your own entertainment and in summer - picnic!!!
- The Galleries as mentioned or at any of the many boot sales that are held in and around the area.
- Watt Tyler park in Pitsea has several craft shops, covering painting, ceramics and many other small hobbies
- The Galleries in the East Gate Centre are the place to go - they have all sorts and if they don't have it try Allders which is right next door.
- There is a great "oriental" shop in the galleries in East Gate which sells everything from Kimonos to Japanese weapons and martial arts gizmos.
- Try the market or the smaller shops in the Eastgate Centre.
