- Apart from the usual, not much! Aroma on festival does an all you can eat for about 6 quid...
- Mcdonalds and mcdonalds and you've got the Kfc and burger king oh and theres more mcdonalds
- Mostly junk food. Try restaurants in department stores and thats about as good as it gets unless you wanna spend some dough in Costa although upstairs at the bakers oven used to do decent jackets. There is a food court...but why subject yourself to that indignity.
- Dream Cafe- cheap, cheerful and decent food!
- macdonalds i suppose
- Well, it's got to be the Akash Indian in Laindon Centre. Don't be put off by the grotty shopping centre, the Akash serves some of the best Indian food available, and believe me, I've tried some! Friendly waiters and does that guy know how to cook!
- pie and mash shop on bas market
- Olivers MASSIVE sandwiches...
- The Bagel shop that just opened in Pitsea High Road... Tres bien
- Apart from the typical Basildon diet of McDonalds or KFC and the other rubbish resturants try one of the nice Indian resturants
- Well isnt that typical of Basildon people...McDonalds etc. Get out of Basildon for decent food!!
- The canteen at Basildon college... run the gauntlet if you dare...
- woo woo take away the best chinky around run by extra small people
- Pizza Hut! Harvester! And My fav - AROMA in Basildon Festival Leisure park!
- Best Indian is undoubtedly the Maharaja which is about 10 mins down the road in Benfleet!
- Enjoy a fantastic Maci D's - the Basildonian's staple diet!
- honeypot.festival leisure park is a very funky place to eat and drink. rob the scouse manager is vry good at making people feel special[and he is so so so fucking sexxy]he does quiz nights and the like but i havent been there 4 awhile cause i've just taken a gap.
- God theres loads..Mcdonalds,Burger King,Pizza Hut...Kentucky..etc..all ok if ya wanna live on Junk food! Of course I wouldn't disapprove!
- mackdonalds
- Bakers Oven do nice sausage rolls and dough-nuts. McDonalds is open on Sundays. Burger King = nice burgers but expensive.
- On the new leisure park; McDonalds (ugh!), the Honey Pot (plus Charlie Chalks Fun factory) plus more coming up soon.
- Lots and lots of takeaways - Pitsea is fast food and takeaway city - Maccy D's Wimpey hundreds of Indians and Chinese but best of all Essex Kebab shop over the road from the Railway Pub in Pitsea - best Kebabs in the world and only down the road from the Bull Pub in Pitsea which is great at the weekend with lots of live music and discos etc.
- There the usual fast food joints. There's an excellent restaurant near Pitsea station called the Cromwell Manor. There's also a few good indian restaurants, a couple of Beefeater's and a Harvester. If you're in Pitsea, the Bella Pasta is worth a visit - it's better than any of the London one's I've been to.
- Basildon Leisure park is to house over 15 resturants, already open are Macdonalds TGI Fridays, A new Pub. To follow are many styles including Italian,French,Pizza Hut.
- When I am in Basildon I always go to Tony Dow in the market. The food is great, but on a Saturday night it can add to a bad hangover
- Cafes all over town + McDonalds, Burger King and evena Wimpy. Burger vans on market (very good value).
- In the town Centre the quietest, but quite expensive, has to be the basement cafe - called The Metro - in Allders. They do the best toasted cheese sandwich. There is a McDonalds, Wimpey and PizzaHut, plus a large resturant in Eastgate and in SavaCentre (Sainsburys).
- For a nice meal try the Four Seasons Restaurant in Laindon opposite Gordons Gin Factory. There are two Harvester Resturants on the Five Bells Roundabout which is on the A13.
