Cinemas
- Empire cinema at festival leisure is huge!!! it always feels like you've actually been to pitures rather than gone round a friends house to watch a movie!!
- vue up bas vegus
- UCI Cinema at the Festival Leisure Park taken over by Empire in November 2005 - 12 screens - ok if you don't like crowds
- There's only the UCI, or rather ODEAN now, and it's mostly all hollywood blockbusters or hegomonic saturation of US films, they have the occasional british independent though.
- i think UCI is far to expensive i went there with my friend on the saturday just gone to see the exorcism of emily rose (which is really good and recommend it 2 every1!) and we had 2 pay £7 because we were going 2 see an adult film and if you are over 15 which we were you have 2 pay an adult price anyway. but £7 just 2 sit down and look at a screen for a couple of hours its disgusting! and i think adult prices should be 18 because you have 2 be 18 to drink but you can smoke and loose your virginity at 16 but why not just make everything 18! its stuipid if i made up yhe rules every1 would b happy
- UCI in festival- overpriced!
- Although just a typical big name cinema, the Odeon on the retail park is one of the best of that type around
- UCI is a bit expensive and the drinks have a habit opf falling apart at the bottom (nah, seriously, it was only once and I didn't have much left) open pretty late as well.
- festival leasure has a uci
- uci festival leisure
- UCI cinema at the festival leisure park
- The hot dogs at uci are ridiculously expensive arent they?
- UCI in Festival leisure park, is good quiet xpensiv, its £6 4 15s and over and sumink like £4 4 unda 15s. Nice comfy seats food xpensive though friendly and clean wiv good atmosphere of a nite!
- the old cinema in the town was great on saturday mornings
- theres a big cinema with a ben and jerrys counter :D theres a bowling ally next to it and theres a pizza hut and a few good food shops and theres the clubs
- Cine complex in the Festival park is nice (although pricey), and the sound system is excellent
- I done my trident work experience at the ABC which has since changed hands several times. What a dindgy shite-hole that place was. Mind you good fun as a 15 year old.
- We've got a UCI multiplex!
- UCI- It is the newest cinema in Basildon, so it is the best.
- There's the Robin's cinema in the town centre, behind the post office and there's a new 10 screen UCI just opened up at the Festival Leisure Park.
- also opening shortly on the Basildon leisure park is a Ten screen UCI cinema. Open now on ther leisure park (situated on Cranes Farm Road) is a new 25 lane Hollywood bowl with onsite pub, resturant, snackbar, arcade etc. Basildon town centre still has the old bowling alley and quasar arena situated opposite the Roof garden Pub
- Plans for a huge leisure complex are going through to be based on an industrial estate just outside the Town Centre. This will include 12-screen cinema, ice-skating, cafes etc.
- Robin's cinema is small and rubbish - much better to go to Lakeside Thurrock
