- the skateboard dudes! wen eva im in the town nxt to mvc or w.e its called LOADS of them hang there its soo sad but i spose there most safer there cause all the basildon rude boys would probably kill you other wise! what mugs!
- Skate Park in Glouster Park.
- Just had a look at the new skatepark - it's behind the swimming pool in Glouscester Park. Good surface, good half pipe somewhat not wide enough in my opinion - but kind of standard width. Other than that a range of ramps and stuff to keep people happy - i just we had this stuff back in 1978 - 78 (Yeah I'm an old bloke)
- Outside toys R us!
- Park over by Kingswood School.
- There's always Billericay its cool even for beginners i learnt to drop in and rock to fakie at that park.
- only skatespot i can think of is in chelmsford (skate park) which is not to gud. ohh and the place next to MVC is st martains square thats where the grungeers/grebbos go
- I was askater the first time round (1976 - 90) and still occasionally jump on my board at 40! Looking at the skate place list I dont see the six foot curved bank in the car park or Ford Trafford House near the station mentioned. Sure, it has a three inch high kerb in front of it, but it never stopped us dumping concrete in front of it to make a rideable transition. Why not try it again?
- Ballards walk shops, the stairs there, the set at the jolly frier (probobly spelt wrong)
- if you go 2 festivial lesuire.there r about 8 different stair sets ranging from 4 to 9 the 9 isabout the size of a 10.there is a nice 5 stair at the edge of the car park and there is a 5 behind pizza hut.go through front entrance of uci from the car park then go through your exit on the left then go right there will be a couple of 5 stairs with short run up then theres a 8 with about the same run up then u will get to the 9 wich is fukin massive the are some stair sets around that area mostly near the shops.
- in the loading bay there is a sloping metal rail
- there is the three set of stairs behind macdonalds and also the loading bay which has high drops
- LIMIT
- From the top of Langdon Hill by the boozer down through to Lnagdon Hills onto Laindon over the A127 to Noak Bridge. Then if you've got enough energy behind you, you should be able to reach Billericay. Time 20mins max.
- Skate spots in Basildon are Toys R Us stair sets, the square has a long 4 set benches, Eastgate loading bay, flat metal benches all over town, crappy council built park over the swimming pool, the animal underpass, westgate set, marble blocks in town centre, slopping curbs Toy R Us carpark, red bench behind library, Eastgate car park has gaps and curbs, Eastgate carpark spiral entrance has banks, theres a huge stair set by post office never counted it or have but have forgotten,
- Not many places loads hang in the Broadway at Pitsea and skate and sk8 days r organized by local councils wiv half pipes, verts grinding poles etc @ LOCAL LEISURE CENTRE! Also rampage in Leigh on sea and Romford sk8 park!Thtas wot me bro sed neway!
- the fountain in the town centre, some benches in the town centre and where that ugly metal statue thing is in the centre of town and by marks and spencers
- By Towngate: massive steps, big wooden box, long red handrail. By Liberty cinema: steps, 1.5' block. Subways: banked sides, also banks in car park by station. Sundays or holidays are best.
- Sundays town centre. West or East square, steps, h'rail wicked little block 1.5' high. By Town Gate: huge steps 1 huge 6' wide red barrier. Subways just down from there with transitioned walls/banks, also 15' high 45 degree bank. Car park near station: transitioned banks but curbs, take ply. More handrails dotted here and there. Also lots of industrial estates such as Pipps Hill Ñ good for street (and there's a Burger King there). Cranes Farm Road Ñ good for street and BK + KFC drive thru's. Don't go out of your way. Only if passing.
