• Have a swimming pool, a couple of gym's, football pitches and loads of clubs for other sports, such as trampolining
• lots to do here- got a couple of pools (Pitsea and Glouster park) and leisure centers all over the place which do all the judo, karate etc. Chalvedon Boxing club as well.
• There used to be a cycle speedway track in Gloucester Park.
• Titans Inline Hockey Club Eversley Centre, Crest Road, Pitsea. Training from 4 pm. Saturday. First session free - be at the centre before 6pm. Saturdays - equipment provided, but bring your own skates (inlines or quads) Members aged from 7 yrs up.

• Sports at Festering Leisure Park: Whilst staggering around BAS VEGAS with a bit of broken glass stuck your foot it is always a great laugh to tap people on the shoulder and quickly turn around so that they think somebody else has just tapped them. When people are waving tenners over the bar and everyone gets hot and bothered, a good thing to do is swiftly snatch the aforementioned money out of the hand of a total stranger and pass it to you good friend who's waiting just behind you, its a really good icebreaker if you dont get ya face punched in!
• Pinching men's bums at Jumping Jax on a saturday night has become a kind of a sport for us... and of course avoiding the flying glasses etc.
