- Offbeat. Basingstoke skateboarding scene is bad though, I've only ever seen one guy who's any good, he pulls big ass pop shuvit tail grabs and stuff mmmm..He's there a lot, then there's this old guy who pretends to film you but he's as nice guy so it's okay...

- off beat where all the wannabe skaters hang out, when i was at school they used to smash your electronic pets for you for a fiver!! the good thing about the place is Sean Stevens! i had a crush on him for years! i think he still works there!

- area 51, best skatey/grungie shop in basingstoke, has most amazing t-shirts and also does piercing anywhere you like (literally)
Also All-sports are good if you want a comercial board that everyother skater in the country will have, originallity not an option here unless you want to mess around and make your our with spare parts...

- OffBeat is the best shop in this townie run place. Good Music, Rad staff and cool clothes.
