• the ramp at the top of the high street, needs resurfacing but its good to skate. near the ramp the are two long five sets and a long six set in a row both the 5 stair hanrails are are skateable. market square outside budgens, theres a two set and a couple of threes some wall drops also a 9 and 12 set. round the back of budgens theres a loading bay drop. the primary school is alright as well several movable benches and a lot of flat ground. secondry school, the carpark at the front has banks all the way around it that make a decent sized gap and there good for doing tricks out of, at the far end theres a small grass gap, round the back theres a six set some big grass gaps and a few small drops. theres a massive six stair at the station.
• Hi,I got a letter a while ago from Max Nevin and Jamie about some lighting to the ramp by the fire station, just to let you know an order has been placed with our contractors to fit a floodlight. • theres da half pipe outside da youth club which is broken dat sucks cos its da onli place 2 go,nd u mite wanna watch out 4 all da townies datgo nd sit up there nd beat da shit outa sk8rz. deres da bandstand near budgens but u get kicked out if ya sk8 there its crap neways erm yeh dats it! wow battle is like sk8in paradise-NOT.
• ramp next to fire station and school
• Right.....battle mini ramp is a 4ft mini with a 1.5 ft tombstone which is a bit pointless as its so thin! the transitions are pretty cool and the copings prett good. Although small its the best ramp youll find around the hastings area. Its situated right at the top of the highstreet opposite the budgens complex! the next spot, probably the best in east sussex, is Claverham community college! Its like something straight from an american skate vid. It features a carpark completely surrounded by concrete flatbanks which at the top of have a nicely surfaced road! very nice! Around the back are a load of excellent little and big drops with a nice curved boardslide wall, pretty easy but still fun. Times to go around the back are sketchy...usually sundays are best as college is a sports centre ith some dickhead who always threatens calling the police, but dont worry he never does. THe carparks normally cool at all times at weekends but dont skate when busy! Its situated about 15 mins up the road off the roundabout with the police station. Worth the treck. Only at weekends though as is a school! there u go!
