- The skateshop is the only really non high-street shop, apart from a load a charity shops which are always good for a bargain. Once got a pair of Es Koston 2's for a fiver!
- ummmmm.....not a lot to choose from there really. There's the CO-OP (if you're over 60) or Woolies (if you're under 10) and charity shops if you're a student. Having said that, a trendy little shop, Bliss, has opened up at the Old Market.....Beccles goes trendy!
- Mackeys
- you'd only get your clothes in beccles if you were over 70 and getting your pension...Total Granny style, man...
- Cloves do a nice line in quality second-hand clothes. If you don't mind paying more than the item cost originally...
- Mackays are good value if you are a bloke and have a 48" waist. If you are of a normal waist circumference, be prepared to find only one pair of trousers that are the right size when they have a 2 for 1, or 2 pairs for £25 deal... That really is a classic!
If you have a child, please bring something with you to entertain them, as the in-store cartoons that are normally on down the end of the shop are usually out of order.
- Mackays have good offers for the discerning gent.
Cloves do a nice line in second-hand Matalan gear at more than the original price.
- Only clothes shops for the over 75's
- A beautiful line in tank-tops & corduroy trousers in the Sue(Groove)Ryder shop.
