• UK Live Ltd bought the lease on Harvey's Bar Beccles on 9th October 2006. We would like to amend the comments left regarding Harvey's. We operate a very strict policy in the upstairs bar and club. We work closely with Beccles Police and Suffolk First and will not tolerate any fighting or harassment on the premises. We have now addressed the issues with Harvey's past and we intend to keep our bar and club a safe and enjoyable environment for all to use. We enforce a strict "Look Under 21" policy and if no ID is provided then not entry is granted. We understand that Harvey's was known as trouble in the past however this is NOT the case now. • Harvey's - known as 'Fight Club' or 'The Dungeon' so don't go there unless your a drunken chav looking for young girls
• U have to try HARVEYS if u want clubbin in Beccles, (its the only one) RnB on a Fri and dance on a Sat unless u bully the DJ into playin RnB as well on a Sat
• Harvey's (used to be the wine vaults) is the only place where you can get a drink when the pubs shut...
• You could do worse than to join the Legion if you want to drink in quantity as it's a good pint and at a very reasonable price. You must be prepared to sit in exactly the same position every time you enter though.

• The royal british legion club yippeee its nearly been dragged screaming into the 21st century,you dont need your demob suit to get in these days
• Caxton Club, a Social Club with cheap beer which even tastes good.
• Try Beccles Labour Club on Peddars Lane for an exciting game of Phat on a Sunday lunchtime with the ex-regulars of the Ingate Public House. And a cheap pint of John Smith's of course.
• Beccles has nothing like this. Beccles really is Dullsville.
